Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Mba has boasted that the team is sure of a resounding success against the Wayla Antelopes in the final qualifier for the World Cup.
Mba who scored the winning goal against Burkina Faso at the last Africa Cup of Nations told 9jafamilies.com that the boys are ready for the game which will see the Nigerian side at the World Cup.
“From the first day when I knew we are playing Ethiopia. I told myself that it might not be easy but we are going to beat Ethiopia to qualify for the World Cup.
“And then the talk of altitude and how it will affect us in Addis Ababa almost took the shine off the first leg game. But we braved all odds to beat them 2-1 in Addis Ababa.
“I am not underrating the Ethiopians but we are far better side and it will certainly be confirmed on Saturday.
“The game against Ethiopia will confirm Nigeria as the Champion of Africa. We are going to win and win very well. I have no doubt in my mind that every Nigerian will smile and celebrate at the end of the game,” Mba boasted.
The Super Eagles need just a draw to qualify for the World Cup.
